The daughter of the Grand General Defending the North, Shen Zhi, saw her entire family framed with forged evidence and executed by Grand Tutor Qin Yue. Carrying half a tally and her father's blood-written letter, she escaped the execution ground, lived under an alias, and traveled far to the Southern Wilderness. In a barren wasteland where no one gave her a chance, she boiled white salt from a poisonous well, reclaimed wasteland to grow grain, single-handedly built the Jinhe Trading House, and amassed a force for revenge. Along the way, she saved Xiao Jue, who bore the former emperor's bloodline and hid the other half of the military tally, and the two went from probing each other to forming a blood-feud alliance. Qin Yue pressed forward with a hundred thousand troops; she used the miasma forest as her chessboard and trapped the enemy by cutting off their supplies, completely annihilating fifty thousand old northern garrison troops in a single battle. Finally, she carried ironclad evidence back to the Golden Throne, exposing the Grand Tutor's twenty-year heaven-deceiving conspiracy right in the hall and clearing her family's name.
