The General Welcomes My Own Sister As Equal Wife, I Divorced And Became A Female Inspector
Married for five years, Jiang Tingxue managed military provisions and guarded the general's manor for Xie Chenyuan, in exchange for him wanting to welcome her own sister Jiang Yaoya as an equal wife. To pay off gambling debts for Jiang Yaoya, Xie Chenyuan embezzled thirty thousand taels of military family relief silver, and also forced Jiang Tingxue to confess to the crime. She concealed evidence, resolutely parted ways, and went south with Pei Yan to audit accounts. From eighteen military families whose relief was falsely claimed, to empty granaries with moldy grain and private transport of military provisions, a black ledger spanning the imperial court and the southern border gradually surfaced.
