Rong Yu, a modern girl skilled in martial arts and medicine, transmigrates into an early-era web novel, becoming the tragic cannon-fodder character Rong Daya. To escape her doomed fate, she rescues Zhai Qingyu—a severely injured and deeply guarded reborn heir—in a snow cave, taking him in and caring for him on the condition of a bounty. As the two constantly clash, her six-year-old younger brother, Rong Yao, acts as a little mediator to ease their relationship. Making her living through hunting and labor, Rong Yu has a disposition and past completely different from the original owner, causing Zhai Qingyu to gradually let down his preconceptions. Afterwards, everyone joins hands to face various rustic trials, and in their day-to-day companionship, the two slowly untie their past emotional knots, reaping their own encounters and warmth.
