The Chicken Farm on the Mountain, The Hearts of Those Below
Lin Feng, a young man returning to his hometown, leases Qing Shi Mountain and invests all his savings in building an ecological chicken farm. Liu Jinhua, celebrating her eldest grandson's admission to a vocational college, takes him up the mountain to catch chickens and nourish his health. When Lin Feng refuses, she holds a grudge. Incited by local bully Ma Biao, she steals chickens in the middle of the night and destroys the chicken coops, causing 580,000 yuan in damages. Using surveillance footage, contracts, and audio recordings, Lin Feng pursues legal accountability. However, he then faces threats involving official authority from Liu Qiang, road sabotage by Zhao Shun, price manipulation by Qian Hai, and online defamation. By gathering evidence at every turn, he makes the wrongdoers pay for their actions. He invests the compensation money back into his chicken farm and leads the villagers toward prosperity.
