Lu Yunzhou exhausts his savings to build a barren land into a high-standard bamboo fungus base, only to have his paternal uncle Lu Daqiang seize the land in the name of collective interests. Faced with the villagers' greed and betrayal, he decisively removes his equipment and preserves his orders. After taking over, the villagers discover that cultivation is far from easy; rotten goods, compensation, and forged accounts follow one after another. Everyone is filled with regret and begs him to return. Lu Yunzhou no longer makes unconditional concessions, but instead rebuilds the base with technology and rules, letting everyone see the human heart deep within the bamboo shadows.
