A modern young man is transported to another world and reincarnated as Bai Yu, a black snake from the Ink Snake Tribe who carries the bloodline of the Torch Dragon. He is raised from childhood under the care of his childhood sweetheart, Qing Ji. However, Qing Ji conspires with her romantic rival, Xiang Qiu, and together they use a Bloodthirsty Bone Blade to forcibly extract Bai Yu's innate Torch Dragon bloodline. After abandoning him, gravely wounded, in a desolate forest, they leave him on the brink of death. At that moment, he awakens the Infinite Devouring Evolution System. By devouring mythical beasts, he can absorb life energy and evolve without limits. Bai Yu travels through the dangerous regions of the Mountains and Seas, subduing ferocious beasts one after another. He subsequently recruits ancient auspicious creatures, including the Phoenix, Bai Ze, and the Northern Dark Black Tortoise, to form a mighty beast army. He successively defeats the forces serving Chaos, including the Ink Qilin, Chi You, and Xing Tian. Through countless evolutionary transformations, he ultimately establishes a new world order in which all beasts can live in peace.
