Secret agent Su Miaomiao time-travels to the 1970s, becoming the long-lost true heiress of the Huo family. Just as her family ties are recognized, the entire household is scheduled to be sent down to impoverished rural villages. Facing adversity, she relies on her spatial superpower and exquisite acupuncture medical skills to confront the hardships of life head-on. In Shimatou Village, Su Miaomiao saves villagers in danger, assists barefoot doctors in practicing medicine, teaches children to identify medicinal herbs, leads the fellow villagers in gathering and excavating medicinal materials to create income, and helps the entire village solve winter survival challenges. With her kindness and sense of responsibility, she wins the respect of the villagers, guards the Huo family, stands firm in adversity, and uses her own hands to rewrite her fate and that of the countryside.
