Su Wan, a university student, uses her professional nail art skills to do her roommates' nails in their dormitory. When Tang Tian transfers into their program, she brings along her best friend, Meng Jia. The two steal Su Wan's customers by offering cheap manicures and even stir up the roommates to demand refunds from her. Lured by the low prices, the roommates soon suffer nail infections and damage from substandard, expired nail products. Su Wan decides to stop arguing with them and sets up a nail art stall at the university town's night market, determined to uphold her standards of hygiene and craftsmanship.
