A special forces soldier time-travels and becomes the notoriously ruined Prince of You, Li Zhao. Framed by the crown prince during the birthday banquet, he breaks the deadlock with his culinary skills, sweeps Kyoto with the white sugar business, and wins the bet to head for his fiefdom. Yearning to escape the capital's struggle for the throne, he is instead dispatched to the treacherous and perilous Jiaozhou. On one side is an inescapable royal engagement, on the other are intricate local gentry families, alongside the displaced and suffering common people. Wishing merely to be a carefree prince and lie flat through his days, reality instead forces him to press forward step by step, using food for profit and political strategy to break the deadlock, forging a different path in a chaotic world's fiefdom.
