The youth Xie Xun's village was attacked, and his grandparents perished to protect the ancestral treasured cauldron. He was rescued by Yun Shu, the young sect master of the Luoxia Sect, and brought into the sect. Xie Xun had ordinary spiritual roots, and while serving as a handyman in the pill room, he accidentally discovered that his family's immortal cauldron could refine pills, nourish spiritual plants, and perfect cultivation methods. He concentrated on practicing alchemy, repeatedly faced harassment from fellow disciples, and saw friends encounter danger one after another. Xie Xun endured and grew, broke through secret realms, fought in sect trials, and punished a crowd of villains.
