Qingshan Village orphan Zhou Chen, speaking with a Sichuan accent, makes a living by gathering herbs. Accidentally saving the severely injured immortal Xuan Chenzi, he becomes his apprentice to cultivate immortality, secretly practicing alchemy while hiding it in the open by only cultivating technique. Ten years later, entering the First Immortal Sect, he reunites with Li Muxue whom he saved in his childhood, running around for her strange poison. Disguising himself as "Chen Zhou", he uses the Baoheng Auction House to secretly sell pills, selling pills to gather herbs on one side while pretending to be an ordinary disciple on the open side. Behold how a Sichuan-accented teenager secretly practices alchemy, quietly grows stronger, and silently protects people in the immortal sect.
