College student Lin Chen invests his technical expertise in softshell turtle farming and earns eight million yuan in annual profits, only for his cousin Zhao Lei to tear up their agreement, leave him with just 30,000 yuan, and publicly humiliate him. With his mother seriously ill and urgently needing surgery, Lin Chen asks for help but is rejected. With nothing left to lose, he rents an abandoned pond and starts his own business. Zhao Lei repeatedly sabotages him by cutting off his supply of young turtles, but Lin Chen receives help from his mentor and his junior schoolmate Xia Wan. Using his professional expertise, he raises high-quality softshell turtles, achieves a flood of orders through livestreaming, and builds his own brand, ultimately becoming a rural entrepreneur who leads the village to prosperity. Zhao Lei's wrongdoing eventually ruins his reputation, and he suffers the consequences of his own actions.
