Qu Ning time-travels into a book, becoming the ill-fated true heiress whose destiny is fraught with peril in the original story. After awakening the bullet screen perspective, she chooses to disguise herself as blind, using her blindness as a shield to maneuver among various figures. She plots step-by-step to preserve herself, engaging in a mutual game of wits with several capricious youths. Even her uncle, Gu Zhengyuan, continually breaks his inherent principles for her, staging a tangled tale of multi-character tension.
