To make up for her shortcomings, Gu Wantang lavished wealth on raising her daughter Shen Mingzhu, but unexpectedly met extra Ye Zhiwei at a film studio. The other's plum blossom birthmark, similar appearance and ancestral film pendant made her suspicious. The first paternity test was secretly swapped by Qiao Manlin, leaving Gu Wantang in a maze. Later, through blood type clues, Gu Wantang redid the test, uncovering the truth that Ye Zhiwei was actually her biological daughter Shen Zhiwei, and Shen Mingzhu was actually Qiao Manlin's daughter. Qiao Manlin swapped the babies back then and deliberately caused the death of Gu Wantang's husband Shen Yanzhou. In the end, the villains received legal punishment, and Shen Zhiwei took charge of Xingyao Entertainment with her own ability, harvesting a happy family.
