On a rainy night in Penang, a female corpse suddenly appears in a luxury theater, and the ginkgo leaves left at the scene pull Liang Jialang, captain of the Crime Division, back to the scene where his foster father died in the line of duty five years ago. He reunites with his estranged foster sister Liang Suining—now the prophet of the mysterious organization 'Night Ferry', pursuing the truth with empathy. Liang Suining is denounced as a liar by Liang Jialang for her mystical detective methods. She locks onto the real culprit, psychologist Lin Yiqian, alone, only to be misunderstood and detained instead. In the lighthouse showdown, Lin Yiqian detonates a bomb, Liang Suining's identity is exposed, and Night Ferry rescues in time. Liang Jialang is gravely injured protecting his sister, and upon waking up, the siblings finally resolve their knot, the true culprit is brought to justice, and years of gloom dissipate with the sea breeze.
