Chen Jiang, a young man from Xinjiang, gives up his high-paying coastal job and returns to his hometown to fulfill his grandfather's dying wish. On the saline-alkali land of the Gobi Desert, he uses discarded wastewater to farm mud crabs. Facing skepticism from the entire village, depleted funds, and mass die-offs of crab seedlings, he relies on his exceptional expertise and the support of a scientific research team to successfully build the world's most inland fish farm. He leads the villagers out of poverty and into prosperity, bringing rural revitalization to life.
