In the home of down-and-out screenwriter Zhou Ming, four women who time-traveled from ancient times suddenly arrived. They cannot scan QR codes or understand food delivery, and treat live streaming like performing on a stage. To survive, Zhou Ming is forced to become their manager, teaching them how to use smartphones, shoot videos, take on commercials, and hide their identities. A palace intrigue expert gives lectures on workplace survival lessons, and a Tang Dynasty noblewoman burns her tongue eating hot pot during a live stream. With old and new colliding and creating endless laughs, these ancient people stumble through modern society to survive, completely rewriting Zhou Ming's life.
