This is a satisfying story setting where a lying-flat security guard is actually a little Taoist priest, yet beyond the satisfying feel it writes out deeper things: master-apprentice inheritance, greater national loyalty and righteousness, and the allegiance of people's hearts. Liu Xiaoshu uses righteousness to defeat enemies, but what truly makes him win is his master's protection, his companions' trust, Zhao Qingyao's resonance, and his own heart that strikes when it is time to strike.
