Community small supermarket owner Chen Jianping and his wife Liu Chunxia unexpectedly discover a passage leading to a post-disaster world. Starting from "one box of water for one gold bar", they start a supplies business spanning two worlds. With their interactions deepening with the post-disaster youth Jiang Ye, the couple gradually changes from traders to guardians of the settlement.
