After losing his family, Liu Husheng lives alone and receives a household companion robot numbered 128. At first, he is extremely resistant and gives it a hard time everywhere, but gradually accepts it through living together day and night. His biological son returns home eyeing the relocation compensation and starts a fire late at night. Number 128 rushes into the fire twice to rescue Liu Husheng and the deceased's relics, suffering severe damage itself. Deeply grateful for this companionship and protection, Liu Husheng solemnly records it into the family tree, naming it Liu Xiaoqi.
