Du An, the senior sister of the Sword Sect, has a severe hoarding habit. After passing the heavenly tribulation, she picks up a crystal-white skeleton. Once assembled, the skeleton Pei Song'an actually starts speaking. The two forge a soul contract, sparking a series of hilarious mishaps such as digging up ancestral graves and a divine sword going wild. Pei Song'an was originally an alchemist genius who fell a millennium ago, went to collect a debt on an appointment for the founder of the Sword Sect, and unfortunately died miserably, burying his bones in the back mountain. Du An accompanies him to explore past memories and uncovers the truth behind the tragic death of that year. After going through crises and twists, Pei Song'an takes the opportunity to reshape his flesh and blood. From bickering enemies to developing mutual affection, the person and the skeleton reap a two-way heading love amidst laughter and redemption.
