Penniless director Lin Xiao is bound to the "Historical Variety Show System", traveling through five thousand years to invite real historical figures like Qin Shi Huang, Xiang Yu, and Liu Bang to participate in a live-streaming variety show. The program is simultaneously broadcasted on ancient skies, allowing ancient and modern audiences to follow the updates together. Famous historical generals engage in a battle of wits and courage in name-tag ripping, Werewolf, and historical debates, crushing traffic stars and rival shows. The third episode "War of Family Revival" introduces Huhai, Cao Ang, and Li Chengqian, intertwining father-son grievances with undercover assassinations. At the end, Lin Xiao announces the fourth episode "The Call of Cthulhu", where famous historical figures collide with indescribable terrifying entities.
