Lin Xia, the owner of an agricultural supplies store, is struggling with debt when an abandoned well connects to the Great Liang Dynasty. There, she meets Yan Zheng, an honest county magistrate. Using modern agricultural supplies such as hybrid seeds, electric pest-control nets, and cold-weather equipment, she helps the locals survive droughts, locust plagues, and blizzards. She legally sells an ancient bronze beast to pay off her debts and donates ancient agricultural books to the state free of charge. Through modern agricultural technology and mutual assistance across two eras, they join hands to overcome one natural disaster after another.
