Chen Yuan is reborn in the year 2000. He uses the betrothal money to buy a barren plot of land in the northern suburbs and breaks off his engagement. He trades the land for the agency rights to PHS phones and makes a bet against a female CEO. His countertrend marketing strategy sets the market ablaze. When business rivals deliberately try to suppress him, he mortgages the barren land and launches a precise counterattack, turning the tables by capitalizing on market changes. The barren land rises into a commercial hub, and he wins both his career and love. But a mysterious phone call at the end hints that a much bigger game has only just begun.
