To raise medical expenses for her son suffering from a rare disease, medical researcher Lu Yang spent a full five years buried in research overseas. On the very day she returned to China, she caught her husband, older brother, and best friend plotting together outside a private dining room, tricking her into continuing abroad while framing her with false charges. Lu Yang did not argue or make a fuss; she immediately sold her pre-marital property, blocked everyone's contact information, and turned around to head far overseas to restart her life. As the truth was peeled back layer by layer, those who had schemed against her one after another filled with remorse, but Lu Yang had long since established a firm foothold with her own scientific research achievements; her life only moves forward and never looks back.
