To cover up the dead fish problem, Sun Qiang and his son, coastal fish farmers, incite the villagers to dismantle the shark-repelling sonar system installed by Lu Yuan and prevent everyone from harvesting their fish early. When a school of sharks attacks, every aquaculture cage in the village is destroyed, and the Sun family also faces a crisis due to breach of contract. Instead of accepting responsibility, they gather a mob to confront Lu Yuan. Calmly, Lu Yuan produces surveillance footage and liability waivers, proving that the dead fish attracted the sharks. Sun Qiang and his son are dealt with by the police for illegally dumping dead fish and damaging equipment. The incident teaches the villagers to respect nature, follow the rules, and trust professional expertise. Lu Yuan subsequently leads everyone in rebuilding the protective facilities and establishing a new aquaculture agreement so they can work together to restore production.
