Player Jiang Ming experiences a high-freedom closed-beta xianxia game, controlling Lin Qingxue, the Mahayana-stage senior sister of Xuantian Sect, while Lin Qingxue retains self-awareness and mistakenly believes she is possessed and controlled by an otherworldly heavenly demon. In the game, junior sister Zhao Linlin colludes with sect elders and relatives to frame Lin Qingxue for stealing pills. Refusing to follow the cliché, depressing tropes of female-oriented plots, Jiang Ming directly strikes back and kills the troublemaking disciples, the law enforcement hall master, and the peak master in succession, and then defeats sect master Gu Changfeng who uses a demonic forbidden weapon, uncovering the conspiracy between the Zhao family and the sect master to seize her Dao foundation. Jiang Ming subsequently annihilates the entire Zhao family, but due to reckless actions loses the main storyline clues, ultimately choosing to reload and restart as the world's time flows backward.
