Fishing village youth Zhang Han rescues an injured jiaolong at a fishery and is gifted a drop of essence blood, transforming his body to perceive fish schools. Unable to endure years of exploitation by his third uncle and his wife, he indignantly resigns, buys an old boat with his meager two thousand yuan to go fishing alone at sea, and makes a fortune daily relying on his special ability. Envying him intensely, the third uncle's couple first attempts a forced low-price purchase which is rejected, then harbors deep resentment after their own fish pond goes bankrupt, bringing thugs onto the boat to smash things and set fires. At the critical moment, the jiaolong descends from the sky, its dragon roar shaking the heavens and scaring the villains out of their wits. Meanwhile, Qin Tian, head of the Qin family who worships the jiaolong, leads his crowd to arrive and recognizes that Zhang Han will be the 'number one person in Jiangcheng' in the future, kneeling on the spot to pay homage and allegiance.
