The Chuchu Banquet was brilliant with lights, originally a grand event for chefs across the world to exchange culinary skills, but behind the scenes, it was exploited by people who used the chef evaluations to set up gambling rings, attempting to seize control of the appraisal authority over the world's culinary goods, binding famous chefs and trade routes together to amass wealth and manipulate the market. Lin Xiaoman, who excels in culinary arts, gets accidentally dragged into this culinary world turmoil. Using dishes as clues, she searches for flaws from evaluation plaques, account books, and letters; her senior martial brother is responsible for guarding and collecting evidence, and the two work together in the open and in secret to fight against the forces behind the scenes. From the Chuchu Banquet gambling rings to the battle of standards at the World Culinary Goods Conference, they dismantle traps step by step, fighting against the power and authority bred in the name of culinary arts.
