Yan Chuan, carrying the bronze lamp case left by his father, sets out to uncover the truth behind the counter-tide of the Fog River spiritual vein. He joins hands with the spiritual apothecary Cen Wei to search for the lost stardust ring and crack the secrets of the old array, experiencing trials and growth along the way. Facing the arduous mission of guarding the heavenly gate, instead of choosing the old method of sacrificing innocent people, they rely on wisdom, trust, and cooperation to find a new solution, ultimately repairing the spiritual vein and freeing their companions trapped within the array.
