As the folded navigation ends, the four engines of the Light-Chaser suddenly shut down. Outside the ship, the river of stars flows backward, and forty-seven minutes of time are lost on board. Everyone is trapped in a closed old route. Pilot Lin Che, signal cartographer Su Mi, mechanic Tang Zhao, and life-support module maintainer Qiao Ya, together with client Heci who concealed route information, face the energy countdown crisis head-on. The five of them navigate between the cockpit and the nebula beacon to troubleshoot failures and crack the secret of the star map seeds. They put aside disputes and arbitrariness, face up to the trouble caused by concealment, and collaborate candidly through trial and error. In the end, they abandon the monopoly of the star map, make the route data public, and join forces to return home.
