While purchasing ore at a mining site, wealthy businessman Shen Li unexpectedly discovers a laborer with a crescent-shaped birthmark on the sole of her foot, whom he suspects is his missing daughter, Shen Nian. Three years ago, Shen Nian returned from a trip abroad with a dramatically changed personality, arousing her father's suspicions. The truth is that the real Shen Nian was framed by Qin Xiao, Su Man, and Gu Heng, then thrown into the mining site to endure relentless torment, while Su Man underwent plastic surgery and impersonated her to remain in the Shen family. After exposing the conspiracy, Shen Li gathers his men and launches a forceful assault on the mine to rescue his daughter, who has suffered terribly and sustained hearing damage. He carefully plots his moves and brings every villain to justice. Having survived the ordeal, Shen Nian begins to heal and establishes a charitable foundation, while father and daughter join hands to embark on a new chapter of life.
