The extreme heat continues, and an insect disaster breaks out as food and water supplies grow increasingly scarce. Han Ying and Lu Yuan move into a survivor base with Tangyuan. Armed with supplies they stockpiled in advance and their connected spaces, they grow cacti, make new friends, reinforce their villa, and gradually establish themselves. However, old grudges, battles over supplies, and new disasters repeatedly shatter their peace. While keeping the secret of their spaces hidden, the two use their memories of their previous lives to overcome crises and deepen their trust as they fight to survive side by side. When bandits surround the base and their companions are put in danger, they join forces once again to fight back against this bleak world.
