Zhao Haizhu, an ordinary man, unexpectedly transmigrates to the cultivation world and becomes bound to a system that gives him the swagger of a Northeast Chinese gang boss. Armed with a machete, he makes his way through the three realms of immortals, demons, and monsters. Guided by the code of brotherhood, he brings the major sects under his command and establishes his own hierarchy of bosses. He successively defeats snake demons, demon generals, and monster kings, until he finally faces the Chaos Demon Lord. Along the way, he befriends Hua Qiang, Su Nianqing, Leng Yueyao, and other brothers who would risk their lives for one another, while paying a heavy price through the sacrifices of Xiao Tian'er, Haonan, and A Pi. After restoring peace to the immortal realm, he briefly returns to his hometown. However, spiritual energy begins leaking into the mortal world, while the immortal realm's seals collapse, bringing two crises at once. Armed with a machete concealing the power of chaos, Zhao Haizhu returns to Mount Taixu to confront the enormous Chaos hand emerging from the seal, setting the stage for the second season.
