Lin Yin, a master's graduate in animal behavior, can understand cats' and dogs' emotions and experiences through an acoustic system she developed herself. After rescuing an injured Border Collie, she follows clues provided by animals to help the police dismantle an illegal breeding operation, expose the lies of a seemingly righteous influencer who claims to expose fraud, and withstand online smear campaigns and threats while promoting transparency in the operation of an animal welfare foundation. Throughout her journey, she relies on professional expertise and evidence to reunite lost show dogs with their families and help Doudou, a dog who has suffered abuse, overcome its trauma. Ultimately, she helps advance discussions on legislation against animal abuse. Humans and animals heal one another, while justice is upheld through evidence and the rule of law.
