After graduating in fine arts, He Xiaosheng returns to Suzhou, wanting to carve the city of Suzhou on a peach pit and create a micro-city series. Facing Master He's persistence in traditional pit carving, he starts by learning how to select and carve pits, mastering arcs, characters, and story expression through discarded pits and trial carvings. He keeps the foundation of pit carving to complete new works, and expands dissemination through comic shorts and experience tours. Master He finally accepts him as an apprentice. Everyone pools their efforts to build a pit carving culture museum, launching experiences and live streaming. In the end, He Xiaosheng takes over the old carving knife, letting pit carving continue to be passed down in new expressions and move toward a broader world.
