Su Tao, a boatwoman at Peach Blossom Ferry, guards a single ferryboat, ferrying passing villagers for the price of one single coin per ride. Ten years ago, she saved Xie Linchuan, a drowning youth, and a peach wood hairpin became the bond between them. Years later, Xie Linchuan returns to the ferry, tracing old tracks to find his savior. Facing the malicious suppression of the local squire Zhou Mancang, the two join hands with the neighbors to uphold the righteousness of the ferry and break through calculations of profit. Having weathered the storms of the flood season and the entanglements of old cases, the ferry crossing where peach blossoms fly witnesses the warmth of a mutual dash toward each other. The ferryboat carries people, and also carries true hearts; ordinary little people guard their original intentions and protect their homeland, writing a warm and healing story of Jianghu fireworks.
