Special forces soldier Chen Ping accidentally time-travels to the 1980s, becoming a rural youth harshly mistreated by his birth family. Just as a century-rare extreme cold blizzard is about to arrive, he, his wife Su Yumei, and his good friend Da Niu leave their old home and retreat to an abandoned artillery bunker in the back mountain. He activates his accompanying spiritual spring ancient jade, rescues an injured white tiger, relies on survival skills to hunt and store supplies, and reinforces the artillery bunker, converting it into a safe residence. When the cold wave strikes, facing the disaster-stricken fellow villagers, Chen Ping brings out supplies, leading everyone to build a temporary camp to get through the crisis together. Afterward, he ventures out to procure medicine and food, surviving the harsh winter. When the disaster passes and spring arrives, everyone rebuilds their homes, and Chen Ping's family welcomes a stable and warm new life.
