From Lei Jingxiu, Lei Siqi, Lei Tingchang and others in the late Qing dynasty risking their lives in troubled times to rescue and transfer the Style Lei archives, to predecessors such as Zhu Qiqian, Liang Sicheng, and Lin Huiyin running about to visit, collecting and guarding this architectural treasure with all their might, and further to today's vast number of students stepping into Style Lei's ancestral home, memorial hall, and related architectural remains to perceive the artisan spirit. Over more than a hundred years of changing times, generations succeeding one another, completing a cultural lineage relay across time and space, the sparks of guardianship and transmission continue endlessly.
