Seven years ago on a stormy night, pregnant Yu Rou suffered a car accident, and Huo Cheng mistakenly believed both his wife and daughter had died. Yu Rou was actually saved, and after giving birth to their daughter Yu Baoer, she fell into a long-term coma and was hidden by greedy relatives. Seven years later, Yu Baoer, who collects scraps to save money, pushed her mother to a temple to make a wish, being misunderstood by Huo Cheng who came to pay respects. Because her eyebrows and eyes resembled his deceased wife, Huo Cheng's heart softened, but he saw half a jade pendant on her chest—which was the token of love between him and Yu Rou. After their identities were confirmed, the family of three reunited, the schemers were investigated and punished, Yu Rou recovered, and Yu Baoer resolved to study medicine.
