On New Year's Eve, a destitute young man receives a bowl of hot food and financial assistance from Sister Shen, and he never forgets her kindness. Years later, having become a business tycoon, he learns that his benefactor's culinary skills have been stolen by her apprentice, Lin Jianguo, who has also been maliciously bullying her son. He steps forward and uses his abilities and the rules to fight back, exposing his rival's many misdeeds and helping the Shen family reclaim their time-honored brand and business. In the end, kindness is rewarded, conveying a positive message about repaying those who have helped us and staying true to our principles.
