Zhao Hai, a top modern survival expert, unexpectedly travels back in time and is exiled alongside the Zhao clan to Huanglong Island. Facing a lack of fresh water and food, attacks from indigenous tribes, and threats from pirates, he uses modern knowledge to produce fresh water, harvest refined sea salt, build ships, smelt iron, and develop trade, transforming the deserted island into a prosperous free port. As firearms, cannons, and steam-powered ironclad warships are successively invented, Zhao Hai leads everyone in defeating powerful enemies and opening new sea routes, ultimately building a maritime empire that dominates the seas.
