Aquaculture expert Chu Tianci is reborn in the distressed and impoverished fishing village of Yinzhu Village. Relying on modern marine aquaculture knowledge, he joins hands with the fishing girl Hai Ling'er to break through the villagers' doubts and the constant suppression of the bully Jin Batian. They build net cages to cultivate rare colorful southern pearls, open pearls in public to smash rumors, and lead the entire village out of poverty. The once dilapidated fishing village transforms into a bustling commercial maritime pearl city, interpreting a period-style maritime satisfying dream of technological counterattack.
