National-level new energy project technical expert Shen Xiao disappeared for eight years and returned home with honors, only to find that his mother Qin Suqin was framed by capital forces, imprisoned in a sanitarium with a forged psychiatric diagnosis, and the family technology fund was also coveted and embezzled. Shen Xiao strictly adhered to the bottom line of the rule of law, relied on evidence to uncover the conspiracy layer by layer, cooperated with judicial authorities to punish a group of lawbreakers, and cleared his mother's profound grievances. He guarded core national scientific and technological assets, upheld the responsibility of home and country, balanced family affection and social responsibility, and interpreted the justice and backbone of a new era of scientific research practitioners.
