Jiang Che is born with the ability to understand animal thoughts and becomes a forest ranger in a nature reserve after graduating from college. On his first day, he is latched onto by a touch-porcelain panda cub, and the mother panda crosses mountains to chase after a long-term meal ticket, refusing to leave the courtyard. Since then, the small courtyard becomes increasingly lively, successively taking in a large black bear, a golden eagle, a tiger, a giant tortoise, and a group of live treasures. Relying on his natural affinity constitution and all-around skills, Jiang Che rescues wild animals, cracks down on poaching gangs, discovers the extinct Chinese sturgeon and a Ming dynasty shipwreck, counter-attacks from a grassroots forest ranger to a culture and tourism spokesperson, and leads a group of fierce beasts to live a happy, self-sufficient life deep in the mountains.
