A woman lives in the house she purchased fully paid for before marriage, while her mother-in-law, sister-in-law, and grandson live with her long-term. She takes on all the housework, receives only a small monthly living allowance, and frequently suffers mistreatment from her family. When her daughter suddenly develops a high fever and urgently needs medical attention, her husband is unwilling to pay for the medical expenses, yet generously spends money to buy luxury goods for his sister. After seeing through the selfish and cold-hearted true colors of the family, she resolves no longer to tolerate it, to protect her child, and to defend her property and rights.
