Chen An'an, a modern woman, transmigrates to the Great Kang Dynasty. On her very first day, she encounters a village gathering where laborers are being assigned. While everyone else chooses strong, able-bodied men, she picks a refined young gentleman named Yin Xiu. Others assume she has taken home a sickly weakling, but using her modern knowledge, she makes soap and brews wine. Not only does she cure Yin Xiu's red rash, but she also builds a fortune alongside him. Only later does she discover that Yin Xiu is actually a young noble heir who had been living outside his family.
