Nuannuan descends the mountain with her beloved dog, Snowball, and a black-and-gold heavy hammer, stumbling into Ye Qinghe's pastry shop. A jade pendant engraved with the Ye family name reveals the truth about her origins, and Nuannuan finally recognizes her mother and reunites with Shen Yanzhou. But the Shen family is far from peaceful. Shen Heixin covets the company and uses the board of directors to apply pressure, while Shen Lingchuan, confined to a wheelchair, longs to regain feeling in his legs. Nuannuan uses her astonishing strength to protect her family and her sincerity to heal old divisions. As one challenge after another arises, Shen Yanzhou and Ye Qinghe join hands to protect their child and rediscover the warmth of home.
