Wang Po ventures to help a dystocia mother wolf give birth, assisting three wolf cubs to safely come into the world. The next day, the sheep pen at home is bloodbathed by a pack of wolves, with over ten sheep dying completely, and Wang Po bitterly curses the mother wolf for returning kindness with enmity. Amidst the mother and son's grief and indignation, more than ten grey wolves block the courtyard gate, neither attacking nor leaving, standing in formation quietly as if waiting for something. The wolf pack suddenly makes way for a path, and Wang Po raises her eyes to look, her whole body's blood freezing.
