Jiang Lingyue, a Soul Transformation-stage grandmaster of the Mystic Sect, and her senior brother Gu Qingxuan accidentally transmigrate to a Western magical continent during the tribulation of ascension, losing all their cultivation. The two encounter Liz, a Holy Light mage, Cole, a dark elf, and Ize, a vampire with an obsession with cleanliness, and form an adventuring party. To collect seven fragments of a treasure map and find the Dark Sacred Artifact, they travel through places such as the City of Chaos and the City of Ice and Snow, slaying magical beasts and foiling conspiracies along the way, using Eastern mystical arts to sweep away crises in the Western magical world.
